Weather Outlook - 10th July 2026(12 Noon)

Saharan dust haze concentrations will continue to cross our islands, reducing visibility and air quality.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions. A thinning out is expected from early Saturday before a thick plume returns on Monday. Meanwhile, an approaching tropical wave will affect our islands as Saturday progresses. Residents and motorists should remain alert. An increase in shower intensity is likely from late Saturday. Some slight improvement to these conditions may be experienced along Monday.

Strong (~40 km/h) north easterly trades with higher gusts are crossing our islands. Residents should be aware of occasional strong winds. A shift to easterly is expected on Saturday and Monday. Consequently, seas are moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.5 m on western coasts and near 2.5 m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise extreme caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds.
