Weather Outlook - 25th July 2026(12 Noon)

Moderate Saharan dust haze concentrations are expected to thin out on Sunday but could return by late Monday and linger into Tuesday morning.

Residents are advised to take the necessary precautions. Meanwhile, unstable conditions associated with a tropical wave could trigger pockets of showers and thunderstorms this evening into Sunday. Fair conditions could be interrupted by showers by Monday evening as a weak tropical wave is forecast to affect our islands. The Atlantic high pressure system should regain dominance as Tuesday progresses.

Moderate to fresh (~20-30 km/h) south easterly to easterly trades are crossing our islands, decreasing (~20 km/h) along Sunday. A temporary shift to east north easterly is expected on Monday. Wind speeds should increase (~20-35 km/h) on Tuesday. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.0 m on western coasts and near 1.8 m on eastern coasts. Smooth to slight (0.5 m to 1.2 m) sea conditions can be expected during this forecast period
