Weather Outlook - 10th August 2026(12noon)

Weak unstable conditions could maintain a few showers and isolated thunderstorms across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). The SVG Meteorological Services will monitor areas of interest across the Tropical Atlantic Ocean and issue

updates/advisories. One such area is expected to cross the islands as a vigorous tropical wave during Thursday…Be alert!

East northeasterly moderate (~ 25km/h) breeze across SVG could gradually increase to fresh (30 - 35km/h) by Wednesday night and directions turn north northeasterly, becoming strong (40 - 48km/h) during Thursday as a vigorous tropical wave crosses the islands…Be aware!

Sea conditions are smooth to slight in open water, with swells less than 1.2m(4ft) across SVG during today and Tuesday. Small-craft operators should be prepared for moderate-rough sea conditions and occasional strong winds by Thursday,  as a tropical wave crosses the islands…SVG Meteorological Services will issue Advisories as necessary.
