Weather Outlook - 13th August 2026(12noon)

Saharan dust-haze and dry-air persist across our area, limiting showers and visibility, while creating poor air qualityTake the necessary precautions. Dust-haze is likely to thin out by Saturday, as a tropical disturbance approaches with scattered showers and thunderstorms

possible across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG)Residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should be alert.

Fresh-occasionally strong (30 - 45km/h) northeasterly winds across our islands could become temporarily light/gentle (10 - 15km/h) and directions turn south southeasterly during Saturday afternoon, as a tropical disturbance crosses the islandsBe aware!

Sea conditions are moderate in open water, with rising swells likely to range 1.5m(5ft) to 3.0m(10ft) across SVG by weekendSmall-craft operators should be prepared for limited visibility in moderate/thick dust-haze, above normal swells and occasional gusty winds.
