Weather Outlook - 5th September 2026 (12 Noon)

Warm conditions could be interrupted by a few short lived showers along Saturday evening as a ridge pattern dominates the weather conditions.

Similar conditions are anticipated on Sunday with a low chance of showers. Apart from a few passing showers early Monday, hazy and breezy conditions are expected. Residents should take the necessary precautions for reduced air quality and visibility due to Saharan dust haze. A tropical wave should approach our islands around Tuesday and produce occasional cloudy skies and a few scattered showers

Gentle to moderate (~15-25 km/h) south easterly trades are crossing our islands, but should increase gradually up to Tuesday. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells ranging between 0.5 m and 1.0 m on western coasts and between 1.5 m to 2.0 m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells from Monday.
