Weather Outlook - 25th June 2026 (12 Noon)

Relatively fair, hazy and breezy conditions can be expected across our islands for the remainder of Thursday with similar conditions likely on Friday.

Saharan dust haze concentrations are currently reducing air quality and visibility. Remain alert. A decrease in concentrations is expected from Saturday. Meanwhile, a tropical wave will inch closer to our islands late Saturday and should trigger showers and thunderstorms along Sunday. Residents should remain alert.

Moderate to fresh (~20-35 km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing the islands but should slightly decrease (~30 km/h) and become east south easterly from Saturday afternoon. Seas are moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.5 m on western coasts and near 2.0 m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. An improvement to sea conditions is likely from Saturday.
