Unstable conditions will continue to generate cloudy skies and occasional showers across SVG for the remainder of Monday.

On Tuesday, more pleasant conditions are anticipated as a ridge pattern builds but by nightfall, a tropical wave will approach the islands. This feature should trigger some scattered showers and possible thunderstorms along Wednesday. Lingering instability may produce a few showers on Thursday. Meanwhile, Saharan dust haze concentrations should increase near our islands into Tuesday. Residents should take the necessary precautions for reduced air quality and visibility due to Saharan dust haze.

Gentle to fresh (~15-30 km/h) east south easterly trades are crossing our islands, but should decrease (~25 km/h) along Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds could increase in speeds again on Thursday. Seas should peak near 1.0 m on western coasts and range between 1.5 m to 2.0 m on eastern coasts during this forecast period. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells on Thursday.
