Weather Outlook - 22nd June 2026(12 Noon)
The Atlantic high pressure system is dominant allowing for fair and breezy conditions across our islands for the remainder of Monday.
Meanwhile, a tropical wave inches closer to our islands and this increases the potential for some showers across Tuesday afternoon and along Wednesday. Relatively fair conditions are anticipated on Thursday. Saharan dust haze concentrations will thicken across our area on Tuesday, reducing air quality and visibility. Remain alert.
Moderate to Strong (~20-40 km/h) north easterly trades will cross our islands during this forecast period. As a result, agitated sea conditions will persist. Swells should be near 1.5 m on western coasts and between 2.0 m and 2.4 m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise extreme caution for above normal sea swells.
