Weather Outlook - 2nd May 2026 (12 Noon)
A ridge pattern is the dominant feature across St. Vincent & the Grenadines and Sunny and fair conditions are anticipated for the remainder of Saturday.
Over the next few days however, a few brief passing showers are likely to interrupt fair conditions as weak pulses develop along the south western periphery of the Atlantic High pressure system. In addition, Saharan dust haze intrusion is likely along Sunday reducing visibility and air quality across our islands.
Gentle to fresh (~15 to 30km/h) east south-easterly trades are crossing our islands, increasing (~35 km/h) on Sunday. A shift to east north easterly is expected by Tuesday afternoon. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking to 1.0 m on western coasts and ranging between 1.5m to 1.8m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells on eastern coasts.
