72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 29th October 2020 (6pm)

Generally cloudy to overcast skies with intense showers under gusty conditions are forecast for SVG tonight and tomorrow. Earlier, there were reports of flash-flooding across sections of the mainland. In addition, over 2 inches(~50mm) of rainfall were recorded at some stations. Models suggest an additional 3 inches(~75mm) of rainfall is anticipated with higher amounts in mountainous areas, therefore a flash-flood warning was put in effect for St. Vincent & the Grenadines from 4pm today until 6am Friday 30th October. Residents and motorists in areas  prone  to  flooding  and landslides  or  near  rivers  and  streams  should  continue to be vigilant and take  the  necessary precautionary measures to protect life and property.
