72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook, 16th June 2020 (6pm)

Approaching unstable conditions may trigger a few showers across St. Vincent & the Grenadines tonight into Wednesday. Occasional cloudy skies and brief showers are forecast for tomorrow accompanied by an intrusion of thick Saharan dust that should increase gradually over the next few days. Small-craft operators should therefore exercise caution for reduced visibility whereas persons with respiratory and allergy concerns should be aware that air quality may be reduced and take necessary precautions. By Thursday afternoon, a tropical wave should begin to affect the islands, generating cloudy skies and triggering some light to moderate showers in the process. The shower activity associated with this wave is expected to linger into Friday morning.
