Weather Outlook 22nd April 2019 (6 pm)

A deep ‘cut-off low’ in the Central Atlantic could create favourable mid to upper level (tropical upper tropospheric trough-TUTT) support for shower activity with troughs occasionally propagating the island chain. One such trough should be approaching our islands on Tuesday, with increasing moisture/cloudiness across the Grenadine Islands to shift northwards with scattered showers across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) by evening. Deep convective clouds (towering) and isolated thunderstorms are possible across SVG during Tuesday night.
