The Atlantic High Pressure System is dominant across the region with brisk winds bringing occasional shallow cloud patches and showers.  As the Western Atlantic High shifts eastward across the Atlantic, an area of lower pressure (cold front) could become squeezed and cut-off between the Higher pressure areas by Friday… (See 06z analysis below).
