72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 5th June 2024 (12noon)

Moisture levels and shower activity have decreased across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and stable conditions are expected, as the Atlantic High Pressure System becomes dominant. Fair-partly cloudy skies and brief isolated showers are likely across SVG, gradually increasing towards weekend. Meanwhile, varying concentrations of Saharan dust is creating moderate-haze across our area today and thinning-out to slight-haze by Friday.

Moderate-occasionally fresh (20 - 30km/h) east south-easterly wind-flow across our islands could gust near 35km/h at times. Wind directions are likely to vary between east north-east and east in some locations.

Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, with swells ranging 0.5m - 1.0m west of our islands and 1.0m - 2.0m east of our islands…Small-craft operators should exercise caution due to reduced visibility (poor) in moderate dust-haze this (Wednesday) afternoon.
