72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 19th December 2023 (12 noon)

A decrease in shower intensity is expected across mainland St. Vincent as Tuesday progresses, however a few patches of moderate showers may be experienced across the Grenadines. On Wednesday, similar conditions are anticipated before a shearline triggers some light to heavy showers on Thursday. Lingering instability may allow for cloudy skies and few passing showers on Friday.

Gentle to fresh (15-30 km/h) north easterly to east north easterly trades are currently crossing the islands, occasionally decreasing (15-25km/h) from Wednesday. Seas will be generally moderate in open waters, with swells ranging between 1.0m-1.5m on the western coasts and 2.4m on the eastern coasts. Saharan dust haze intrusion is likely from late Wednesday.
