As shallow patches of moisture crosses our islands within the next 24 hours, fair to occasionally cloudy skies are anticipated. A suppressive upper level environment will seek to inhibit any significant shower activity and allow for showers that should be quite sparse and sporadic in nature. In addition, light and variable wind speeds will contribute to warm conditions that could trigger afternoon localised activity. An approaching tropical wave increases the chances of showers along Wednesday and Thursday, however model guidance suggests that its associated shower activity could remain relatively low.
