The tail end of a tropical wave will continue to affect our islands this afternoon and cloudy to overcast skies are anticipated accompanied by showers and isolated thunderstorm activity. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should exercise caution. Instability trailing this wave is expected to generate occasional cloudy skies and trigger a few shower patches during the early parts of Monday before a ridge rebuilds by evening. Relatively fair conditions could be interrupted by sporadic light showers on Tuesday and Wednesday.
