72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 5th February 2025 (12 Noon)

Fair to occasionally cloudy skies are anticipated within the next 24 hours as the Atlantic high pressure system dominates the weather conditions. In addition, breezy and slightly hazy conditions will persist across SVG during this forecast period. The chance of showers increases from Friday when a shearline is forecast to affect our islands.

Moderate to fresh (~25-35 km/h) north easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing our islands. Seas are moderate in open waters ranging between at 1.5 and 1.8m on the western coasts and near 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise extreme caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds. Slight Saharan dust haze concentrations should be noticeable occasionally across our islands during the next 3 days.
