On the southern edge of the Western Atlantic High Pressure System; a weak tropical wave could result in a few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) late Thursday into the night. A film of Saharan dust lingers across our area and could thicken to moderate haze by Friday, thinning-out on Saturday. Another tropical wave is expected to cross our islands, with scattered showers and thunderstorms by Saturday...Be alert in areas prone to flash-flooding or near rivers and streams.
Moderate to fresh (25 – 35 km/h) east north-easterly trades across our islands could occasionally become gently to moderate (15 – 25 km/h) on Friday and turn east south-easterly during the night.
