Scattered showers are likely across SVG into and along Monday as a surface to low-level shearline inches closer to the Central Windward Islands. Varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze will also cross the island chain, thinning out on Tuesday at which time another tropical wave is expected. Due to the already saturated nature of soils and vulnerability in some areas, residents and motorists are advised to remain alert/exercise caution as models continue to suggest the possibility of moderate to heavy showers accompanied by occasional thunderstorm activity. The Meteorological Services will continue to monitor the progress of this wave and issue the necessary alerts/updates.
