72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 30th October 2021(6pm)

Saharan dust concentrations should continue to thin out across SVG over the next few days, maintaining improved visibility. In addition, a ridge pattern should also dominate this weekend's weather conditions, allowing for occasional light showers as shallow pockets of moisture cross the island chain. Model guidance suggests that around Tuesday, mid to upper level instability could initiate occasional cloudy skies and a trigger a few showers. A relatively light(10-20 km/h) wind regime is anticipated within this forecast period as east to east north easterly trades cross the islands. Seas are expected to remain slightin open water as a result of light wind speeds with swells peaking near 0.5m on western coasts and up to 1.2m on eastern coasts.
