72 Hours Outlook

A depression in the Atlantic is causing the pressure gradient to weaken, allowing for light wind speeds across our area. In addition, an east south easterly wind flow would transfer equatorial moisture to our islands. Consequently, warm conditions are expected over the next few days although afternoons may be interrupted by localised shower activity accompanied by isolated thunderstorms. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should remain alert.
