72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 28th December 2024 (12 Noon)

Generally fair conditions are anticipated across SVG within the next 24 hours. A southward moving shearline could result in cloudy skies by late Sunday. This feature could trigger a few scattered showers across the mainland before spreading through Grenadines along Monday. Fair conditions are anticipated on Tuesday.

Gentle to moderate (~15-25 km/h) north easterly trades are crossing our islands. Speeds could slightly decrease (~10-20 km/h) by Tuesday. Seas are slight to moderate in open waters with northerly swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts and near 1.5m on the eastern coasts. Swell heights should rise along Sunday resulting in generally moderate marine conditions. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Seas should improve on Tuesday. In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
