72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook- 1st December 2020 (6pm)

Although a ridge pattern remains dominant across the islands, a few isolated showers are likely into the morning across mainland St. Vincent. Again, early Thursday, a passing shearline could trigger some light to moderate showers across the islands. Occasionally cloudy skies are forecast for Friday with brief intermittent showers. Generally light to moderate (10-25km/h) east north east to easterly(ENE-E) trades will cross the islands over the next 72 hours, however, a temporary fresh(~30km/h) flow can be expected on occasions late Wednesday. Seas would remain slight (0.5m - 1.0m) on western coasts and moderate (1.2m - 1.8m) on eastern coasts throughout the forecast period. A gradual reduction in dust haze concentrations is likely by Thursday evening.
