A couple tropical waves are bringing cloudy skies, gusty winds, moderate-heavy showers and thunderstorms across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) by this afternoon into early Thursday and again by late Friday…Residents and motorists in

areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should exercise caution. Saharan dust concentrations thinned out across our area, thickening again Thursday night with limited visibility and unhealthy air quality for sensitive persons…Take the necessary precautions.

Fresh (30 - 35km/h) northeasterlies could become occasionally strong (40 - 45km/h) with gusty conditions over the next few days…Be aware of occasional strong winds! 

Seas across SVG could become moderate-rough, with swells ranging 1.5m(5ft) to 1.8m(6ft) west of our islands and 2.5m(8ft) to 3.0m(10ft) east of our islands…Small-craft Advisory in effect for SVG from 12noon today Wednesday until 12noon Thursday and may be extended or discontinued if conditions warrant. Sea-bathers are advised to stay out of the water.
