Weather Outlook 19th September 2019 (12 noon)

A weak low level trough across the area could result in isolated showers and possible thunderstorms. Hurricane Jerry is expected to move close to the Leeward Islands, pulling some instability across our area late Friday. Hazy conditions could alternate with showers on Saturday, but increasing showers and thunderstorm activity expected during Sunday. Light to gentle (5 - 20 km/h) south-easterly breeze could become calm at times. Wind speeds should be increasing over the weekend,

becoming fresh to strong late Saturday.

Slight to moderate sea conditions with northerly swells (1.0 – 1.5 m) are across our islands. Wave heights could start rising during Saturday and rough easterly swells (2.5 - 4.0 m) are possible during Sunday.
