Weather Outlook - 9th April 2022(6pm)

As patches of moisture cross the island chain, cloudy skies could be accompanied by occasional showers tonight. Relatively fair conditions are forecast afterward as the Atlantic high pressure system is expected to dominate over the next few days.

Gentle to fresh(15-30km/h) east east north easterly trades will move across the islands within the next 72 hours and slightly breezy conditions can be expected at times. Seas will remain slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts and ranging between 1.8m - 2.2m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells especially on eastern coasts. In addition, a thin film of Saharan dust haze will move across the islands within the next 2 days.
