MARINE ADVISORY for ST VINCENT and the GRENADINES

Issued at 6:00pm, Wednesday 24th December, 2025

 

Effective 6am Thursday 25th December 2025 until 6pm Monday 29th December, 2025.

Low Pressure areas in the North Atlantic Ocean are propagating sea-swells which could reach our shores by Thursday. Occassional northerly swells are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) over the next few days, creating dangerous rip-currents.

Further, long period waves are likely across SVG by Monday, creating unsafe conditions due to breaking wave actionSmall-craft operators and sea-bathers should be alert and exercise extreme caution.

Conditions may become more adverse at times of high tide.
