Weather Outlook 22nd April 2021 (6 pm)

Slight haze can be expected across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) by early Friday due to Saharan dust; possibly thinning-out to a film across St.Vincent during Sunday. Meanwhile, occasional breezy conditions could agitate dry volcanic ash/dust creating dusty conditions and low-level clouds could bring few showers across our islands...Residents and motorists should remain alert due to rain-soaked ash and poor visibility in volcanic ash.

Moderate to fresh (25 - 35 km/h) east south-easterly winds could become easterly during Friday, turning east north-easterly during the night.

Slight to moderate sea-conditions are across our islands; with east north-

easterly swells ranging 1.0 to 1.2 m on western coasts and up to 1.8 m on eastern coasts...Small-craft operators and other users of the sea should not venture along the coast in the red zone due to extremely poor visibility in volcanic ash.
