Weather Outlook - 6th March 2026 (12 Noon)

Slight Saharan dust haze concentrations should be noticeable across our islands during the next three days. In addition, the Atlantic high pressure system is dominant across our islands with breezy conditions persisting over the weekend.

A weak shearline could trigger a few showers on Saturday, whereas on Sunday relatively fair conditions are anticipated.  On Monday a few passing showers are expected as weak unstable conditions cross the islands.

Fresh to strong (~30-40 km/h) east north easterly trades are crossing our islands. Seas are moderate to rough in open waters by Wednesday evening with swells ranging between 1.8m and 2.0m on western coasts and near 3.0m on eastern coasts. Only vessels capable of withstanding swells of these magnitudes should venture out. Sea-bathers are advised to stay out of the water
