Moisture levels are expected to increase across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) over the weekend. Light -moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely across our islands…Residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should be alert. Shower activity across SVG could

decrease by Sunday night. Meanwhile, a film of haze may be noticeable across our area at times.  

Gentle-moderate(15 - 25km/h) winds across our islands could occasionally increase near 30km/h, with directions varying between east northeast and southeast in some locations.

Sea conditions are currently smooth-slight with northerly swells less than 1.0m(3ft) across SVG. Swells could gradually rise to 1.0m(3ft) west of our islands and 1.8m(6ft) east of our islands (slight-moderate sea conditions) and long period waves are expected along our shores by Sunday night. Occasionally, breaking wave action could become choppy especially during Sunday night and Monday…Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should be alert and exercise caution.
