Weather Outlook - 2nd July 2026(12noon)

A tropical wave is expected to spread scattered showers and thunderstorms across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight and during Friday…Residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and

streams should be alert. Concentrations of Saharan dust could thicken across our area by Friday night, with limited visibility and unhealthy air quality for sensitive persons…Take the necessary precautions.

Moderate-fresh (20 - 35km/h) northeasterlies are crossing our islands. Wind directions are likely to vary between northeasterly and east southeasterly during Friday.

Sea conditions are slight-moderate in open water, ranging 1.2m (4ft) to 1.5m (5ft) west of our islands and 1.8m (6ft) to 2.0m (6.5ft) east of our islands…Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for above normal swells, occasional gusty winds and reduced visibility in thick dust-haze by Friday night.
