Fair to partly cloudy skies and a few passing showers can be expected for the remainder of Monday as the Atlantic High Pressure System remains dominant across SVG.

This weather pattern should remain unchanged within the next three days. Meanwhile, a plume of  Saharan dust haze is crossing the islands. Residents should take the necessary precautions for reduced visibility and air quality. Varying concentrations will continue to cross our area within the next two days with some improvement expected on Thursday.

Moderate to fresh (~20-30 km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing our islands, shifting to east south easterly and decreasing (~25 km/h) along Tuesday. From Wednesday will slightly increase to fresh. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.2 m on western coasts and near 1.8 m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and reduced visibility in dust haze. Swell heights should temporarily fall on Tuesday.
