Weather Outlook - 8th October 2026(12noon)

Moisture levels remain elevated across our area generating cloudy skies and pockets of intermittent showers with possible thunderstorms.

As a result, residents are advised to remain alert across Thursday afternoon. A few scattered showers may be experienced on Friday whereas a surface trough is forecast to trigger light to heavy showers along Saturday afternoon. Weather advisories may be issued as the upper levels are expected to become supportive. Residents are strongly urged to stay informed (with the information disseminated from the SVG Meteorological Services) on the progress of the weather conditions within the next 72 hours.

Gentle to fresh (~15-30 km/h) easterly to east south easterly trades will cross our islands within the next 48 hours. Winds speeds should decrease (15-25 km/h) along Sunday. Seas will be slight to moderate in open water with swells heights ranging from 0.5 m to 1.0 m on western coasts and near 1.5 m on eastern coasts. No significant Saharan dust haze intrusion is expected during this forecast period.
