The atmosphere remains dry and the chance of scattered showers increases on Saturday into Sunday. The tropical disturbance currently being monitored is forecast to move west -northwest to pass near the Leeward Islands Sunday night into Monday. Its presence will have an effect on the wind speeds across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, with winds blowing mostly from the east north east (ENE) over the weekend at around 5km/- 20km/h. At times, winds may become calm. Instability associated with its passage, is likely to trigger some showers across SVG around Sunday, and light wind speeds coupled with day time heating can result in localised convective activity by Monday. Sea conditions will be generally slight with swells peaking at 0.5m on the western coasts and 1.2m on the eastern coasts over the weekend into Monday. In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
