The moisture level across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has become shallow and shower activity during the next few days is forecast to be isolated and possibly brief. Partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy skies with a chance of brief isolated showers are forecast for today (Thursday).
Mostly fair conditions are expected around Friday, with a few isolated showers mainly to the north of the mainland as the day progresses. Mostly cloudy skies with a few scattered showers are likely for Saturday. Similar conditions to Saturday are likely on Sunday.
Winds will gradually increase in speed to roughly 25km/h- 35km/h as the Atlantic high pressure system takes dominance across the region. East north easterly (ENE) winds veering to east (E) are expected. Wind gusts (~40km/h) are possible in some areas into the weekend.
Consequently, sea conditions may become generally moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts and 2.5m on the eastern coasts from Friday into the weekend. In addition, slight haze intrusion is forecast for Saturday.
