Occasional cloudy skies could be accompanied by a few scattered showers tonight into early Sunday as some remaining low-level moisture crosses our islands. Relatively warm conditions are likely for Sunday whereas the chance of showers increases during early Monday and along Tuesday.
Strong(near 40km/h) trades(north easterly to easterly) will move across our islands within the next 48 hours before decreasing to moderate/fresh(~20-30km/h) . Consequently, sea conditions will be moderate to rough in open waters with swells ranging between 1.5m to 2.0m on the western coasts and peaking near 3.0m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds. A slight improvement to the sea conditions(1.5m to 2.5m) is possible from around Monday night. No significant dust haze intrusion is anticipated within this forecast period.
