The chance of showers(moderate) remains relatively low until around Tuesday when unstable conditions are expected across the island chain. As a frontal boundary remains north of the islands, light to gentle(less than 20 km/h) northerly wind speeds are anticipated within the next 24 hours. A slight increase(15-25km/h) should begin from Tuesday as the system progresses eastward.
Seas will remain slight to moderate in open water, with swells peaking near 1.0m on western coasts and ranging between 1.5m to 2.3m on eastern coasts. Sea bathers should exercise caution for breaking wave action along the shoreline due to the presence of long period northerly swells especially on eastern and northern coasts. Slight dust haze concentrations will begin to cross the islands from Wednesday.
