Some showers are anticipated during the next three days due to an influx of moisture at low levels and a favourably positioned upper level trough over the island chain.
Saturday: Partly cloudy to cloudy and breezy with occasional light showers. Showers may intensify during the night into Sunday morning. Gusty winds are expected near showers.
Sunday: High chance of some moderate showers throughout the day. Gusty winds are likely near showers.
Monday: Instability should be lingering around the island chain, although by this time the upper level trough will no longer be favourbaly positioned over SVG. Nevertheless, mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers are forecast.
Winds will blow from the east north east (ENE) at 25 km/h to 35 km/h, allowing for breezy conditions from time to time across SVG on Saturday. A decrease in wind speeds (20km/h-30km/h) is forecast from Sunday, becoming gusty near showers. Seas will be moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts and 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. In addition, slight haze intrusion is possible around Monday.
