Breezy conditions and increasing Saharan dust concentrations are anticipated across St. Vincent & the Grenadines over the next few days. Small-craft operators should therefore exercise caution for reduced visibility whereas persons with respiratory and allergy concerns should be aware that air quality may be reduced and take necessary precautions. By Thursday evening, a tropical wave should begin to affect the islands, possibly generating cloudy skies and triggering some light to moderate showers in the process, while under the influence of favourable upper level conditions. The shower activity associated with this wave is expected to linger into Friday morning. Late Friday, another tropical wave should affect the islands with potential for thunderstorm activity and periods of rain heading into Saturday.
