72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook 3rd September 2020 (6 pm)

A few showers with thunderstorm activity moved across the western side of mainland St. Vincent this afternoon. Haze concentrations are thinning across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG); scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms are likely tonight and Friday, as a trough crosses the islands. A patch of dry-air and slight dust-haze is possible during Saturday, but a few showers are likely again by night-fall.

We continue to monitor the Tropical Atlantic Ocean, for any developments.

Light (~5 – 10 km/h) and variable breeze could become calm tonight, increasing slightly (~10 – 20 km/h) during Friday. Directions could vary from north-easterly to south-easterly,
