72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 19th November 2024 (12 Noon)

Unstable conditions continue to affect our islands. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should take the necessary precautionary measures to protect life and property.  Relatively fair conditions could interrupt occasional showers along Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday a few localised showers are anticipated during the mid-afternoon period.

Gentle to moderate (~10-20km/h) east south-easterly trades are currently crossing our islands. Decreased wind speeds (<15 km/h) are expected on Wednesday facilitating warm conditions. Seas will remain slight to moderate in open water ranging between 1.0m to 1.5m. No significant Saharan dust haze concentrations are anticipated this forecast period.
