Occasional showers amidst warm conditions are forecast for the weekend due to a gentle south easterly wind flow and day time heating. An increase in moisture as Saturday progresses into Sunday, with a modest support from mid-upper levels are likely to increase the chance of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Residents are asked to be alert.

Winds are forecast to be mostly gentle to moderate (10km/h-25km/h) blowing from the east south east (ESE) to east (E). Sea conditions will be slight to moderate in open waters, with northerly swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts and 2.0m on the eastern coasts There will be no significant haze intrusion within the forecast period.
