72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook 23rd July 2020 (6 pm)

A few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight into early Friday as a tropical wave crosses the islands ahead of and feeding into Tropical Storm Gonzalo. Slight hazy conditions are also expected Friday. Showers and thunderstorms could increase across SVG during Friday and continue Saturday, as ‘Gonzalo’ crosses the Southern Windward Islands. A hurricane watch remains in effect for SVG and persons in areas prone to flash-flooding and land-slides or near rivers and streams should be alert as ‘Gonzalo’ could bring significant rainfall accumulations across SVG, before moving away during Sunday.

Gentle to moderate (~10 - 25 km/h) easterly breeze are expected tonight
