Weather Outlook 5th July 2020 (6 pm)

Pockets of moderate showers moved across the Grenadine islands this afternoon as moisture trails a tropical wave crossing the island chain. Showers and isolated thunderstorm activity can be expected across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight. Unstable conditions could linger during Monday, ahead of another tropical wave expected Monday night into Tuesday morning, bringing moderate/heavy showers with thunderstorm activity across SVG. Unstable conditions could decrease by Tuesday night, as patches of moderate-thick Saharan dust haze return across our islands.

Moderate to fresh (~20 – 40 km/h) north-easterly trades are across our islands. Directions are expected to vary with occasional gusts (between 40 - 55km/h) during Tuesday,
