Weather Discussion:

The Atlantic High Pressure System is pushing cool fresh breeze across our islands and an occasional film of haze may be noticeable across our area at times. Conditions are stable, with fair and sunny skies becoming partly cloudy on occasions, as lower-level clouds cross the islands bringing isolated showers. Cloud-cover could temporarily increase across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) during Thursday night, with scattered showers.

Moderate-fresh (25 - 35km/h) breeze across our islands vary in direction between north-east and east south-east in some locations. Wind speeds are expected to increase tonight (Monday night) with occasional strong (~40km/h) gusts continuing on Tuesday…Be Alert!

Sea conditions are moderate in open water, with swells near 1.5m west of our islands and ranging 2.0m to 2.5m east of our islands. Swells could rise near 1.8m west of our islands and 2.7m east of our islands during Tuesday…Residents along coasts, small craft operators and sea bathers should be prepared for above normal swells, dangerous breaking wave action and occasional gusty winds.
