72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 29th September 2024 (12 Noon)

Over the next few days, Tropical Storm Joyce and a disturbance with an 80% chance of tropical cyclone development on their current track will remain in the vicinity of the Central Atlantic away from our islands. Due to their location, wind speeds will become light during this forecast period, faciliating warm conditions. These warm conditions will promote localised showers with a medium chance of isolated thunderstorms especially during mid afternoon periods through midweek.

Light and variable (less than 10km/h) trades will cross our islands up to Wednesday. Seas are smooth to moderate in open waters with swells ranging from 0.5m to 1.0m on the western coasts and ranging from 1.2m to 1.5m on the eastern coasts. No significant dust haze intrusion is expected during this forecast period.
