72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook 12 noon 21st November 2017

The Western Atlantic High Pressure System is the dominant feature. Patchy dust concentrations across our islands will occasionally reduce visibility. Dust concentrations (20-40 ug/m**3) should decrease resulting in improved visibility by Wednesday afternoon.By Wednesday afternoon into early Thursday, a few scattered showers can be expected with a weak surface trough across our area. The High Pressure System could weaken a bit on Thursday with a mid level trough crossing our area. Moisture convergence behind the axis on Friday could result in scattered showers.

Moderate to fresh (20 - 40km/h) breeze from east-northeast to east can be expected this afternoon, becoming gentle Wednesday afternoon and veering to east-southeast by Thursday.

Slight to moderate (1.0m – 1.8m) seas across SVG can be expected for the next few days.
