Saharan dust concentrations across our area continue to reduce visibility in moderate/thick-haze and are expected to thin-out tonight, as a tropical wave approaches the islands. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight and during Tuesday…Residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should exercise caution. A few showers could linger across SVG on Wednesday and showers/thunderstorms increase across our islands by Thursday night...Be Alert!
Moderate-fresh (20 - 35km/h) breeze across our islands vary between north-east and south-east in some locations, increasing near 40km/h during Thursday night...Be Alert!
Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, with swells near 1.0m and occasional rip currents west of our islands. Swells range 1.0m to 2.0m east of our islands. Swell heights are rising and moderate (1.5m - 2.5m) sea conditions are likely across SVG during Tuesday...Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution…Swells rise again overnight Thursday.
