72 Hours Outlook

Weather Outlook - 27th July 2025 (12 Noon)

A weak tropical wave will cross our islands resulting in occasional cloudy conditions across Sunday late evening and along Monday. Lingering instability associated with this feature is expected to trigger a few passing showers early Tuesday before the Atlantic high pressure system rebuilds and dominates the weather pattern up to midweek.

Light and gentle (less than 20 km/h) easterly to east south-easterly trades are crossing the islands, increasing (~20-30 km/h) on Monday. Winds should become east north easterly temporarily along Monday and decrease (~15-25 km/h) in speeds on Wednesday. Seas smooth to slight in open water with swells peaking near 0.5m on western coasts and peaking at 1.2m on eastern coasts. Swell heights could increase from Monday, peaking near 1.0m on western coasts and range between 1.5m to 2.0 m on eastern coasts. Saharan dust haze concentrations could cross our islands from late Monday but should thin out along Wednesday.
